Welcome to your new weekly service: Bird of the Week. Each week I will highlight a bird which I think is pretty neat.
This week’s bird: the Hoatzin from South America.
It’s freaky-deaky, hey. It belongs to a unique taxonomic order of which it is the only living member. Their babies have claws on their wings for climbing and whatnot. They’re like little dinosaurs. You can kind of see in the pic below. Woaaaahhhh get out of town.
